The latest CAG report highlights severe deficiencies in Delhi's healthcare infrastructure. It reveals underutilisation of funds, inadequate facilities in Mohalla clinics, and a critical shortage of hospital beds and staff.

The findings also revealed that 35% of the sanctioned posts for doctors and 45% for nurses in Delhi government hospitals remain vacant, exacerbating the healthcare crisis. The report's presentation led to a heated debate in the assembly, with opposition members criticizing the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government for the state of healthcare services in the capital.
