Acer is dipping a toe into health metrics (again)

Acer has unveiled a new fitness tracking smart ring called the Acer eKinekt BD 3, which is designed to monitor health metrics such as heart rate, blood oxygen levels, and sleep patterns. Unlike traditional fitness trackers, this smart ring is worn on the finger and aims to provide a more discreet and comfortable way to track fitness data. The device is part of Acer's broader push into the health and wellness market, showcasing their interest in diversifying beyond laptops and computers. The eKinekt BD 3 is expected to be available later this year, with pricing and additional features to be announced closer to the launch date.
