The new law is meant to expand the number of people in substance abuse facilities and mental health resources that are available.

The new law signed by Governor Phil Murphy in New Jersey expands access to critical services for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities (IDD) by allowing them to receive these services in their homes rather than solely in community-based settings.
