Plans approved for Shift Health and Fitness to open new gum
- Plans were submitted to Warrington Borough Council last month to open a gym in a currently vacant commercial location. Applicant Shift Health and Fitness sought a change of use of an existing unit on School Brow near the town centre - and this has been granted permission by planners.
The Warrington Guardian reports that plans have been approved for Shift Health & Fitness to open a new gym at the former Barclays Bank site on Manchester Road in Warrington. The approval comes after the gym, which has been operating from a temporary location, sought to establish a permanent base. The new facility will span 3,000 sq ft and will include modern fitness equipment, dedicated spaces for various fitness classes, and personal training areas. The move is expected to enhance the gym's offerings, providing better facilities for its members and contributing to the local economy by revitalizing a vacant commercial space.
