NEW YORK--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--Harwood Feffer LLP ([ www.hfesq.com ]) is investigating potential claims against the board of directors of Synovis Life Technologies, Inc. (aSynovisa or the aCompanya) (NASDAQ: SYNO) concerning the proposed acquisition of the Company by Baxter International, Inc. (aBaxtera) in a transaction valued at approximately $325 million.
On December 13, 2011, Synovis announced that it had entered into a definitive merger agreement pursuant to which the Company will be acquired by Baxter. Under the terms of the agreement, Synovis shareholders will receive $28.00 per share in cash.
