Oldest Olympic gold medallist Keleti dies at 103

Agnes Keleti, the oldest living Olympic champion and one of the most decorated female athletes in Olympic history, passed away at the age of 103 in Budapest. Keleti, who survived the Holocaust by hiding in a safe house, went on to win 10 Olympic medals, including five golds, in gymnastics during the 1952 Helsinki and 1956 Melbourne Games. Her achievements include gold medals in floor exercise, balance beam, uneven bars, and team portable apparatus, as well as a silver in the team all-around. After the Soviet invasion of Hungary in 1956, she emigrated to Israel, where she continued her career as a coach. Keleti's life story is one of resilience, having overcome significant adversity to achieve great success in her sport.
