Despite its sleek appearance and the promise of improved battery life, the article expresses disappointment over the lack of Google's Wear OS, which was a significant drawback in the previous model. The OnePlus Watch 3 continues to use a proprietary OS, which limits app availability and functionality compared to competitors like the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 or Google Pixel Watch 2. This decision to stick with a custom OS rather than adopting Wear OS remains a major concern, potentially hindering the watch's appeal in the competitive smartwatch market.
