Garmin unveils two stunning new golf watches and a GPS handheld with 'unlimited' battery life

  • Garmin has also unveiled a new GPS golf handheld, the Approach G20 Solar. As the name suggests, the G20 offers potentially unlimited battery life, thanks to a 2.2-inch solar-powered display. Even without solar charging, it promises up to 36 rounds of golf between charges.

Garmin has introduced three new devices tailored for golf enthusiasts: the Approach Z30, a laser rangefinder with a built-in display for yardages and pinpointer technology; the Approach S70 series, which includes two smartwatches (42mm and 47mm) with vibrant AMOLED displays, offering detailed course maps, and various golfing features like Virtual Caddie and Hazard View; and the Garmin Golf app, which now supports unlimited battery life when paired with a Garmin watch, providing real-time course updates and enhanced social features. The Approach S70 series also includes health and fitness tracking capabilities, making it versatile for everyday use beyond the golf course. These devices are designed to enhance the golfing experience with advanced technology, providing golfers with precise distances, course insights, and performance tracking.
