Remi Bader reveals she got weight loss surgery and details 'most brutal' side effects

Bader explained that she underwent a newer type of bariatric surgery called single anastomosis duodenal-ileal bypass (SADI-S), which is a hybrid of two existing popular weight loss surgeries, the gastric sleeve and a gastric bypass.
Remi Bader, a popular TikTok influencer known for her body positivity content, recently shared that she underwent weight loss surgery. In an interview with People magazine, she discussed her decision to opt for the surgery after years of struggling with her weight, which she attributed to binge eating and a cycle of weight gain and loss. Bader revealed that while the surgery has helped her manage her weight, it came with significant side effects. She experienced severe hair loss, which she described as one of the most brutal side effects, along with other issues like nausea and difficulty eating certain foods. Despite these challenges, Bader expressed that the surgery was a necessary step for her health, and she continues to advocate for body positivity, emphasizing the importance of mental health and self-acceptance in the journey towards physical health.
