Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes closing administrative offices early

  • The Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes have announced their offices will be closing at 3 p.m. on Tuesday due to severe winter weather conditions. CSKT Tribal Health will remain open with the exception of its fitness centers, which will also close at 3 p.m. Tribal Health notes all scheduled appointments for Tuesday will be honored.

The Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes (CSKT) have announced that their administrative offices will close at 1 p.m. on Friday, August 11, 2023, to allow employees to attend the North American Indian Days (NAID) grand entry. This event, which is a significant cultural celebration, will take place at the Arlee Celebration Grounds. The closure affects all tribal offices, but essential services like Tribal Health, Fire, Law Enforcement, and Emergency Services will remain operational. The NAID event itself runs from August 10 to August 13, 2023, and features various activities celebrating Native American culture.
