USA Health to host 'Walk with a Doc' on South Alabama's campus

  • Interested in getting your steps in while also learning? USA Health is offering the option to do both. USA Health Gastrointestinal Surgeon Richard Rieske M.D. has helped

USA Health is hosting a "Walk with a Doc" event on the South Alabama campus, aimed at promoting health and wellness within the community. The event will take place on Saturday, April 22, 2023, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., starting at the Ben May Main Library. Participants will have the opportunity to walk alongside Dr. Michael Pan, a family medicine physician, who will discuss health topics during the walk. This initiative not only encourages physical activity but also provides a platform for community members to interact with healthcare professionals in a casual setting. The event is free, open to the public, and attendees are encouraged to wear comfortable walking shoes and bring water.
