Gentry's preparation included a rigorous training schedule, focusing on both high mileage and recovery, with her peak week reaching 100 miles. She also managed her nutrition meticulously, consuming around 3,000 calories daily during the challenge, and used compression boots for recovery. Her mental preparation was equally vital, employing techniques like visualization and maintaining a positive mindset to tackle the psychological demands of the challenge.
