  • Former President Joe Biden has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer that has metastasized to the bone, his office announced this week.

Joe Biden, the President of the United States, has had a series of health issues throughout his life, including a history of prostate cancer. In 2014, Biden underwent surgery to remove a lesion from his chest, which was later found to be cancerous. He also had a history of aneurysms, having suffered two brain aneurysms in 1988, which required surgery. In 2013, Biden had a routine colonoscopy, which found no abnormalities. In 2021, Biden's physician, Dr. Kevin O'Connor, released a memo stating that the President was "healthy, vigorous," and "fit to successfully execute the duties of the Presidency." Biden has been transparent about his health, releasing his medical records and undergoing regular check-ups.
