Dundee have become Drey Wright's third Scottish Premiership club, with the English utility man saying Dens Park felt "a good fit for me" after leaving relegated St Johnstone. The 30-year-old, who played in defence, midfield and the wing during his time in Perth, has signed a two-year contract. Wright told Dundee's website: "I'm excited about the direction the club is going."

Steve Wright, previously the defensive coordinator for the New Orleans Saints, has joined the San Francisco 49ers as their new defensive coordinator, a move seen as a good fit due to his experience and the 49ers' need for a strong defensive strategy. Wright's departure from the Saints was influenced by a mutual agreement to seek new opportunities, and his arrival at the 49ers is expected to bolster their defense, which struggled in the previous season. His familiarity with a similar defensive scheme and his proven track record in New Orleans make him an ideal candidate to help the 49ers improve their performance on the field.
